YOUR GAME STARTS HERE

PLAY PICKLEBALL.RALLY LONGER.

Learn pickleball rules, practice the shots that keep rallies going, compare paddle options, and find public courts in Utah and Arizona.

New to pickleball? Start with a game you can repeat.

Pickleball combines a paddle, a perforated ball, and a small court. You can play singles or doubles; most of our instruction focuses on recreational doubles, where positioning and patience matter as much as pace.

Learn the rules, then build your first rally

Start with the beginner rules guide for serving, scoring, the two-bounce rule, and the kitchen. Then practice the five foundational shots. Once you can start points and keep score, use our open-play guide to learn how to join a rotation without bringing a full group.

Choose equipment around a real need

A comfortable paddle, suitable balls, and court shoes are a practical starting kit. Our pickleball paddle finder and gear buying guide explains control, power, shape, grip, and tradeoffs before sending you to Amazon searches. Product suggestions are based on published information and fit criteria; they are not laboratory ratings or claims that we have personally tested every paddle.

Find somewhere to use what you learn

Compare the court listings below by city, lighting, and group size. These are directory entries, not live reservations or a guarantee that a game is available. Check the facility’s schedule, bring the ball used by its regular players, and choose one skill from the pickleball learning path to focus on during your next visit.
